This morning, I signed up for a dating app to test whether one of the worst stalkers I have ever had still stalks me whenever I join a dating platform. When he stalks me online, he typically hides his real identity, making it difficult to determine whether a person contacting me is him or someone else.
Over time, I have learned to recognize his way of speaking and writing, which often serves as the only clue that someone might be him. In my experience of being stalked by him, his behavior is consistently impolite, disrespectful, and full of slut-shaming and inappropriate language directed at women.
He treats women as though they are obligated to be available to any man who desires them, reducing them to mere objects. The objectification I have endured from him is appalling, and he has subjected me to years of sexual shaming and terror.
My sexuality is none of this person’s business.
He has made repeated attempts to pry into my personal life and has abused me with sexually explicit and degrading language.
When I joined this dating app, I received over 99 likes from men within the first hour, and several dozen sent me messages. Most were polite and asked about my day or what I was up to. However, one man, using an anonymous name, was disrespectful from the start.
The messages read:
Guest (Gast): Hello! I find you very attractive and sexy. Would you like me to lick your pussy if I can do it really well?
Me: Do you always talk like this?
Guest: No, I only talk like this when I see a woman who is as beautiful as you. It turns me on.
Guest: I would lick your pussy really well.
