I have signed up to a dating app this morning to test if one of the worst stalkers I have had still stalks me when I sign up to a dating app. When he stalks me online, he usually masks his real identity, which makes it harder to prove if a person who contacted me was him or another person.
I know how he speaks and writes, and this is sometimes the only clue that a person who contacts me could be him. In my experience of having been stalked by him, I have found that he is usually being extremely impolite, disrespectful, and uses a lot of slut-shaming and improper language towards women.
He treats a woman as though she were a prostitute who has to be available to any man who would like to have sex with her. The objectification he has put me through is abysmal, and he has sexually shamed me and terrorized me for years.
My sexuality is none of this sick person’s business.
He has been trying to find out more about my sexuality and has abused me with sex talk repeatedly.
When I joined this dating app, I received more than 99 likes from men within one hour, and a few dozen sent me messages. Most men asked me how I was doing or what I was up to, but this one man who used an anonymous name was really disrespectful from the very beginning.
The messages read:
