In October 2014, my husband and I stay in his hometown, Siping, in Northeast China. Our son is a bit over 100 days old. We have dinner with a friend. When she sees him, she says: “Do you always dress him like that?”
I ask her: “What do you mean exactly?”
She tells me: “You know, have him wear tights instead of pants and socks.”
I reply: “We do. It’s convenient. Babies lose socks easily.”
She says: “You should really let him wear pants and socks. He’ll feel uncomfortable if he’s dressed like that.”
Has anyone ever told you how to dress your baby?
