I visited Qingdao last month and found the city absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it as a travel destination, especially if you enjoy colonial history or the beach. Qingdao has beaches right in the city, and many are easily accessible by public transportation. You can even go swimming at some of them—which I didn’t know before visiting, so make sure to bring a bathing suit. I took a few videos, including this one about the Qingdao Metro:
