Tai’an Old Street is a newly built old-style street in Tai’an City, Shandong Province, China.

Located near the river, it makes for a pleasant short excursion.
The best time to visit is in the early evening before sunset, so you can enjoy the view as the sun sets over Panhe River.
Tai’an Old Street features souvenir shops and a variety of restaurants.
You can sample local Shandong cuisine either in one of the restaurants or at a street stall.
Walking through the old street doesn’t take long — around half an hour — but plan for more time if you want to stop for a meal or shop for souvenirs.
The nearby river offers lovely views of Mount Tai (Taishan Mountain) and the city of Tai’an.
Shandong dishes tend not to be overly spicy, though you’ll find a few spicy options as well.
For a relaxing end to your visit, take an evening stroll along the river promenade next to the Old Street. From there, you can enjoy views of Mount Tai and the city lights.
