I recently took a class where one of the other attendees was an Austrian man about my age. He had his whole body tattooed, was bald and sported a long beard. During class, he flirted with me quite obviously. Since I wasn’t interested, I tried to ignore his advances.
I didn’t look at his tattoos too closely, but I was aware that certain tattoos could hint at far-right affiliations.
A few weeks after this class, I participated in a research study. One of the other participants looked like the same Austrian man, although he had shaved his beard. As soon as I entered the room, he started flirting with me in an obvious way, just like before. Again, I tried to ignore him and focused on the study.
A few minutes later, we had to introduce ourselves to the man responsible for conducting the research. The tattooed man introduced himself and mentioned he had a twin brother who had a beard.
I found this quite funny. I knew that twins could have a similar taste but didn’t think two twin brothers would have the same taste in one single woman often, particularly when I was meeting them separately and only coincidentally. I had once read about such a story but thought it was rare for this to happen.
