The laboratory dutchman valley beater is made entirely of stainless steel. The crushing container has a volume of 23 liters and can crush 360 g of pulp in one operation. The rollers, including the bed knife, have a width of 152 mm and a diameter of 190 – 194 mm. The bed knife consists of seven 3.2 mm thick, stainless steel blades. To ensure safe operation of the device, the roller and knives are enclosed in a stainless steel lid.
